The rebirth of the World Cup of Hockey has officially kicked off the 2016 – 2017 hockey season and no one is more excited than the folks here at CHE. It’s great to see the NHL try something new to kick off the season, and in the spirit of trying new things, CHE is thrilled to announce some new and exciting tournament destinations.
After a 4 year hiatus we are thrilled to be heading back to the maritimes and with a March 17 – 19 date, it’s going to be unbelievable to be in Halifax over St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Take in the salty air in this historic Canadian city that features amazing seafood meals, and a ton of centrally located pubs and bars, so make sure you pack something green.
After many requests over the years CHE has finally put together a tournament in Boston June 2 – 4 to kick off the summer. This is the perfect time of year to head to this amazing sports city as the Bruins & Celtics look primed for a playoff run, and if neither make it that far, you can head to historic Fenway Park to peer over the green monster.
After looking long and hard at a mid-January date in Alaska, the draw of 20 hour days and spawning King Salmon, we opted to head to Anchorage June 16 – 18 instead. Experience the splendor of this amazing place, check out some wild life, and maybe even catch a fish or two, and when you leave the bar in the early morning, chances are you could still see an amazing sunset on your stumble home.
An amazing option for team from the golden horseshoe, the city of Rochester is just around the corner from Niagara Falls. This May 5 – 7 you can take a quick trip around Lake Ontario and experience the booming restaurant and micro-brew industry that’s taking over this great city.
Our 2016 – 2017 brochure is in the works and you should be receiving it in the mail in the next month or so, but if you can’t wait for the mail, make sure to check our website as we’re continuously updating as things are solidified.
